The Cabrinha Switchblade is a high aspect 5 strut kite. The Switchblade's profile delivers the perfect combination of a wide wind range and lots of hangtime. Whatever the conditions, the Cabrinha Switchblade 2023 will surprise you. Its strong light wind characteristics, such as easy relaunching and upwind riding, get you onto the water as quickly as possible for endless playtime. In strong winds this Switchblade gives you a safe feeling thanks to its 5 strut design. The 5 struts keep the kite extremely stable in the air and give you all the confidence you need to go all out.

For 2023 the Switchblade has been improved considerably, but rest assured: the Cabrinha Switchblade 2023 stays true to its character. For 2023 Cabrinha uses three different material blends with unique properties in the struts and the leading edge. The Cabrinha Switchblade 2023 is designed with the Hybrid frame. The Hybrid frame is a combination of High Tenacity Dacron (HTD) & HTD Lite, giving the kite the stiffness it needs while increasing response. The canopy has been given a refined new lightweight design which, together with the new ultralite bladders, reduces the weight of the entire kite and delivers more reactive performance. The canopy is made from Nano Ripstop cloth, which according to Cabrinha is the baseline for durability, stability and responsiveness. This canopy has four times more squares per square centimetre than standard canopy material. That makes the cloth stiffer and the kite quicker to respond to steering input. The bridle has been replaced with a bridle that has far less stretch, giving you an even more direct feel with the kite. During your jump or kiteloop you always feel exactly where the kite is in the wind window, which makes it easier to get your timing right.
